Candle making is our newest craft recently added to Art Start. Kids and adults are welcome to come in and create chunk candles, sand candles and in the summer ice candles.

Chunk candles are great for kids and very hands on. They will first choose a candle mold from many sizes and shapes. Then they'll get to fill their mold with a colorful array of small pieces of wax, shells and/or buttons. Choosing their own scent is the last thing they'll do before the wax is poured into their mold.

We recommend picking candles up atleast three hours after they are poured to allow proper cooling time. Cooling overnight is preferred.
